We’re excited to introduce Breanne Boyce to the Evergreen Therapy team! Breanne is a practicum therapist who brings curiosity, compassion, and a genuine desire to understand the experiences that shape us. Her own journey through relationships, personal growth, grief, and significant vision loss has shaped the way she thinks about resilience, connection, and healing.

In her work, Breanne takes a person-centred approach, offering empathy, unconditional positive regard, and space for clients to discover their own strengths and take an active role in their healing. She believes that healing happens through connection—with ourselves and with others—and that learning to understand our emotions and patterns can help us respond differently when life feels difficult.

Breanne is also passionate about the accessibility and flexibility of online therapy. Drawing from her own experience navigating vision loss, she understands how important it can be to have options that meet people where they are. Online counselling can make therapy more accessible for people facing barriers related to transportation, childcare, illness, location, time, or mobility.

Another area Breanne explores is schema therapy, which looks at the deeper beliefs and patterns that can influence how we see ourselves, our relationships, and the world around us.

We’re grateful to have Breanne joining Evergreen Therapy and look forward to seeing how her curiosity, compassion, and commitment to continued learning shape her work with clients.

Watch Breanne’s full introduction to learn more about her journey, her approach to counselling, online therapy, and what she believes can help us move forward when we feel stuck.
